Larches are deciduous conifers. In the autumn, the needles of larches turn golden, just like leaves and only last for a few weeks. This year, I traveled all the way to the Banff National Park in Canada to catch the stunning array of bright orange and yellow colored larch trees throughout the Larch Valley Hike.
